Liquid Lunch – Friday Funday; The Manhattan

Ingredients
2 ounces Rye Whiskey (or bourbon)
1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Ice
Brandied cherry or lemon twist for garnish (optional)

Instructions
Fill a mixing glass with ice.
Add the rye whiskey (or bourbon), sweet vermouth, and bitters to the mixing glass.
Stir the mixture until well-chilled, according to Liquor.com about 30 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
Garnish with a brandied cherry or lemon twist if desired.
