Jurema is both a particular plant species, as well as a tradition and culture surrounding the enigmatic "caboclos," or spiritual ancestors of any local area where sacred plants grow.

The plant species known for producing the culture of Jurema is known by the same name, but is referred to outside of Brazil by its familiar Latin name, Mimosa Hostilis and/or Mimosa Tenuiflora.

This is a plant spirit I have come into contact with, and I believe it is very special and important as a tool to further humanity's reconnection to the plant world in modern times.
