Sixteen-year-old Trey Wright was fatally shot in the chest during a late-night confrontation in Johnsonville, South Carolina, that police say stemmed from a dispute over a girlfriend and provocative Snapchat messages. Authorities allege 19-year-old Devan Raper pulled the trigger before fleeing in an SUV with several teens, while nine people in total — including Wright’s girlfriend — have since been charged in connection with the killing.
