The Excellent Name (Psalm 8 Series #1) Psalm 8:1-2

God has given us a wonderful gift called music. Music can be a dynamic force in our lives emotionally, academically, socially, and even physically. The greatest way music should impact our lives is spiritually. Music should be used to praise and worship God, as well as teach others the truths of God’s Word and about God Himself.
Today, and in the next couple of weeks, Pastor Rick takes us to Psalm 8, as we begin a new series entitled, “A Hymn Of Praise.” As we introduce this Psalm of David, we will take a moment to consider the topic of music itself, and then consider how David uses the opening verse of the song to draw our attention to, "The Excellent Name."
