From the start, Shannon was making excellent and perceptive comments, even about the latest in Ukraine. She and Paul were at the top of their game and made this show a special pleasure for me. Shannon has done brilliant work on the COVID pandemic and now is focusing on how modern technology is changing our culture and our lives, where AI data centers--which have massive water requirements--may bring about the end of normal life in America. Our culture has already undergone substantial changes because of cell phones. As I observed, kids today would give up their parents before they'd give up their cell phones!
