Company Awarded Green New Deal Electric School Bus Contract Bankrupt, Districts Go Back to Diesel

Lion Electric, a Canadian company awarded $159 million in funds to produce 435 electric school buses as part of the Green New Deal has gone bankrupt and has told the schools who got their buses they will not honor their contractual obligations to them which includes servicing them. On top of this, it folded up and closed up shop with $95 million of US taxpayer money and hundreds of buses not delivered.

In this video, we take a look at what could very well be a scam that was run on the American people as part of the Green New Deal where during the contract fulfillment process any financial issues that would have precluded Lion Electric should and would have been found.
