METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER - Cinematic Launch Trailer

Hideo Kojima is no longer at Konami, but Konami isn’t giving up on the METAL GEAR SOLID series. METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is a complete remake of METAL GEAR SOLID 3, which originally released in 2004 for PlayStation 2. Konami has rebuilt the whole game from the ground-up, with the visuals obviously getting a major upgrade, but other features including real-time damage showing up on Snake’s uniform when he takes damage throughout his mission. And yes, David Hayter is back as the voice of Snake after being absent for METAL GEAR SOLID V. Control options have been added as well, letting the player choose between a more “modern” control style, or the PlayStation 2 original setup. Also, a multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt will release as free DLC later in the fall.

METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on August 28, 2025.
