A Legacy of Indifference | FORWARD BOLDLY

At the end of the day, we each will have to stand alone before God and give an account of every thought, word and deed of our lives.

And on that day, we won’t be able to turn to this person or that person and say — he made me do this, or I blame him. No. It will be you and God, alone, with all your deeds of your whole life laid out before you. And He will demand an accounting.

Will you be able to look Our Lord in the face that day and say, "Yes, I acted rightly in all this. I looked after the oppressed. I helped the weak, the defenseless, the vulnerable"?

Or will you instead be left with a legacy of indifference? Callous disregard? Instead of crying out against oppression and slaughter — or worse, justifying it, rationalizing it, even encouraging it?
