Solar-powered cars begin race through Australian outback

Racing teams from around the world set off from Darwin on Sunday (August 24), embarking on a 3,000-kilometer (1,864-mile) journey through the Australian outback in solar-powered electric vehicles as part of the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
