Note: Man, Roeper was being such a jerk that holiday week! He blew it on both "The Lord of the Rings" and "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" and gets heated on "The Song of Martin" review. Although, Ebert was wrong on "Ali" and both were completely wrong on "Joe Somebody".

Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper reviews "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" (Director, Peter Jackson's Remarkable Journey to the Middle Earth in the first film of the "LOTR" trilogy and a magnificent adaptation of J.R. Tolkin's Best-Selling Novel comes to life! Starring: Elijah Wood, Ian McKellan, Viggo Mortensen, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean, Liv Tyler, Hugo Weaving, Sean Astin and Andy Serkis.); "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" (I remember the hype Nickelodeon was putting on throughout the entire year and still was the finest first CGI Animated Sci-Fi Comedy feature ever made! It later spun a Nicktoon series. The soundtrack was atrocious, though! From Steve Odenkirk. Starring: Debi Derryberry, Rob Paulson, Andrea Martin, Martin Short, Jeffrey Garcia, Carolyn Lawrence, Crystal Scales, Mark DeCarlo and Frank Welker.); "Ali" (Michael Mann's amazing biography on the "Float like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee" boxing champion, Muhammad Ali! Starring: Will Smith, Jon Voight (their second collaboration since "Enemy of the State"), Jamie Foxx, Ron Silver, Jada Pinkett Smith, Mykelti Williamson, Paul Rodriguez and Jeffrey Wright.); "Monster's Ball" (Powerful and Intense Drama with Great Performances. Starring: Billy Bob Thorton, Halle Berry and Heath Ledger.); "A Song for Martin"; and "Joe Somebody" (Hilarious Comedy about a divorce father doing anything he can to be a somebody such as standing up against an office bully, get his parking space, get karate lessons from a has-been Martial Arts actor turned instructor, caring for his daughter and his love interest. From director, John Pasquin. Starring: Tim Allen, Jim Belushi, Hayden Pantierre, Kelly Lynch and Julie Bowen.) And a recap of Today's program.

Recorded on KATU ABC 2 in Portland, Oregon with Commercials intact.
