Most big vitamin companies are owned by Big Pharma and big chemical companies. Never take synthetic vitamin A! It can build up in the liver and fat cells and even cause a birth defect if it occurs during pregnancy. Synthetic vitamin A can also interfere with vitamin D and K2, increasing the risk of fractures. Beta carotene is not the same as vitamin A's active form. Synthetic beta carotene, made from coal tar and petroleum, can increase the risk of certain cancers. Folic acid is different from folate, the natural form of vitamin B9. Around 30% to 40% of the world's population has an alteration of the MTHFR gene, which interferes with their ability to turn folic acid into folate, causing it to build up in the blood. This can lead to an increased risk of cancer and a suppressed immune system. Synthetic B12, or cyanocobalamine, requires glutathione to convert to the active form methylcobalamine. Consuming large amounts of synthetic B12 depletes you of this vital antioxidant. Calcium carbonate is the main ingredient in many popular multivitamins. It can build up in the arteries and kidneys and increase your risk of a heart attack. Too much iron can increase your risk of type 2 diabetes, liver issues, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s. Many iron supplements contain ferrous sulfate, a damaging, poor-quality source of iron. Magnesium oxide is a cheap, poorly-absorbed form of magnesium that frequently causes diarrhea. Choose magnesium glycinate for significantly better absorption, better sleep, lower cortisol, and more overall benefits. Synthetic vitamin D is called ergocalciferol and is made by exposing fungus or yeast to UV radiation. Vitamin D2 is not nearly as beneficial as vitamin D3, yet it’s the most prescribed. Don’t consume supplements with added omega-6 fat, often in the form of linoleic acid. Too much omega-6 fat increases inflammation. We need copper, but high amounts of cheap copper can be toxic. Autism rates have skyrocketed from 1 in 100,000 to 1 in 31, so we need to look at everything! Vaccine safety studies do not compare vaccines to placebos, they compare vaccines to other vaccines! RFK Jr. did not say that Tylenol causes autism, but that it could be a contributing factor that can influence susceptible people to develop autism. He has raised awareness of this link and has called for further research. Tylenol is used for fevers, headaches, pain, menstrual cramps, and more. Most people think it doesn't have many side effects, but it’s the leading cause of acute liver failure. Over 80,000 people each year end up in the ER because of too much acetaminophen. Tylenol’s active ingredient depletes glutathione and is found in over 600 medications. A fever is a natural immune reaction to an infection, and suppressing this can increase the infection’s duration. There are multiple causes of autism. One involves a genetic component with the MTHFR gene, which weakens your ability to detoxify and increases your risk of a folate deficiency. Leucovorin is a synthetic folate derivative recommended for some instances of autism. This medication could be beneficial and may provide optimal results if taken with B12, B2, B6, magnesium, and zinc. One study found that between 56% and 75% of those with autism had a folate deficiency! In another trial, synthetic folate boosted IQs by 25% to 50% compared to the placebo. Independent research is needed to explore the vaccine link to autism. Many people will also keep eating even after they’re full. Constant eating leaves you constantly bloated and turning to antacids for relief. It overwhelms the microbes, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and stomach, causing them to work overtime. If you’re eating when you’re not hungry, you’re constantly spiking insulin. Insulin is the hormone that causes fat storage and removes sugar from the blood. When you have chronic high insulin, you develop a protective mechanism called insulin resistance, where insulin no longer works. This leads to more hunger and cravings. There is no one bad food, and you can consume “everything in moderation”. These diet lies will not work! All calories are not the same! Let’s look at the hormone insulin, which tells calories where to go. If insulin is high, your carbohydrates will be stored as fat. If it’s low, those calories will be burned. We're getting close to the start of the 2025-2026 school year, and I've recently put together our daily homeschool schedule/routine. I"ll talk about our plans for the full year, our weekly flow, and the daily routine. We add margin and flexibility into our schedule, but I need to be organized and have order to our day as we homeschool our five children, grade 10 down to grade 2! Ground whole grain corn This is derived from dent corn, also known as field corn. This GMO corn contains traces of glyphosate, an herbicide linked to cancer. Dent corn may also sit for a year before turning into dog food, developing a deadly aflatoxin, also known to cause cancer. Dogs are not meant to consume high amounts of grain! This highly refined starch is just hidden sugar that does not have to be listed on the label. The average dog food is about 48% carbohydrate, which can create metabolic issues, a fatty liver, and obesity. 2. Meat and bone meal This “meal” is typically sourced from dead, dying, diseased, or disabled animals. Euthanized dogs can even be used to create meat and bone meal! 3. Soybean meal Dogs are not meant to consume soybeans, especially highly processed GMO soy. Soybean meal is processed with chemical solvents like hexane and contains phytonutrients that can affect the thyroid, hormones, and offspring if your dog is pregnant. 4. Animal fat This sounds healthy, but it is usually combined with highly oxidized seed oils preserved with chemicals such as BHA or BHT—carcinogens banned in Europe. 5. Corn gluten meal This ethanol byproduct contains a corn protein called zein, which is incomplete and poorly absorbed. 6. Chicken byproduct meal This ingredient also includes dead, dying, diseased, and disabled animals (4D’s), which may also contain antibiotics. 7. Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 2 Dangerous dog food additives like food coloring can cause neurological issues and contribute to tumor formation. 8. Animal digest This is slaughterhouse waste! 9. Wheat middlings This wheat industry waste product contains ethoxyquin, a carcinogenic ingredient banned in Europe. It can also form acrylamide when cooked, which can trigger cancer and liver problems. You can drink tea and coffee without cream or sugar and have water with lemon during your 5-day fast. Plenty of sun, long walks in nature, hot and cold therapy, and HIIT can also enhance the benefits of prolonged fasting. On day 2 of prolonged fasting, you get deeper into ketosis, which means your body burns fat for energy. Autophagy typically begins on the second day of prolonged fasting. This is the process in which the body recycles damaged proteins and uses them for fuel and new tissues. On day 3, brain function and mood continue to improve. BDNF is stimulated, which helps support brain cell regeneration and increases your learning capacity. You also enter a state of deep autophagy, which helps repair mitochondrial damage and clean up intracellular pathogens. On day 3 of a prolonged fast, your immune system essentially resets. Prolonged fasting supports the growth of the thymus gland and allows the gut lining to regenerate completely. People often experience a massive spike in growth hormone on day 3, which protects against muscle loss. On day 4, hunger is gone, and maximum fat burning occurs! Bone broth can be beneficial if you’re struggling through a 5-day fast or experiencing a stressful event. Longevity and protective genes are heightened, and your antioxidant networks are strengthened during prolonged fasting. It can also help diversify your microbiome. Slowly begin the refeeding process with around ¼ of your typical calories. Try an egg with sauerkraut, and then wait a few hours before consuming something like a small amount of soup with avocado. After a few more hours, consume berries and nuts. Wait before introducing a full meal and avoid sugar and carbohydrates. High-quality food is vital at this time! After a 5-day fast, your skin, muscles, joints, and brain will show significant improvements! Regular intermittent fasting can help prepare you for a 5-day fast. Glucose is the body’s preferred energy source! If glucose is so good for you, why does your body do everything it can to eliminate it from your blood? The average thin person has about 100,000 calories of stored fat and only 1,700 calories of glucose. When you consume sugar, it’s removed from the blood very quickly, and the excess sugar is converted into fat. The body requires a small amount of glucose, but your body can make this small amount. The single root cause of chronic disease is high glucose! Blood sugar spikes create inflammation on the inside of the arteries, leading to chronically high insulin levels to remove the sugar. The body compensates with insulin resistance to slow down the glucose that enters the cells. When avocados arrive at the grocery store, they’re often put into a gas chamber and artificially ripened with ethylene gas. The artificial ripening process leaves this superfood devoid of phytonutrients. One research study evaluated 22 different brands of avocado oil and discovered that many products were oxidized, which can cause inflammation. Surprisingly, many products were actually fake avocado oil, mainly composed of soy and canola oils. Approximately 82% of avocado oil is not what it says it is! In the US, there are no official rules on avocado oil or a legally binding definition of the avocado oil extraction process. This has opened the door for corruption. Some avocado oil products contain no avocado oil at all! The origins of your avocado oil can also be misleading. A product can be labeled “product of the US”, but grown and blended elsewhere, as long as the final product is bottled in the US. Avocado oil doesn’t always have an expiration or production date, making it difficult to determine how long it’s been sitting on the shelf. Fast food guacamole does not contain much avocado. It’s often replaced with green peas, hydrogenated oils, and food starches. Cosmetics also claim to use avocado oil, yet soy, palm, and mineral oils are usually listed first on the ingredient list. If you want to buy avocado oil, look for the following: •Dark, glass bottle •Expiration date •Avoid the cheapest brand •Look for the harvest date •Look for green-colored oil When choosing avocados, look for Californian varieties, such as the Hass variety. Avoid the cheaper, shiny, bagged varieties. Avocados can be an incredibly healthy food if you choose the right ones. They contain healthy fats, minimal omega-6 fats, and are a rich source of potassium and magnesium. You probably wouldn’t want to eat moldy bread, but moldy cheese will not negatively affect your health. The mold on cheese does not produce a harmful byproduct like some other molds. Avoid moldy foods such as peanuts, rice, grains, corn, dried fruit, and coffee. Eating mold on these foods can be harmful to your liver and can even cause cancer. If you have mold or fungus in or on your body, it’s probably not related to eating mold, but an issue with your microbiome. In a healthy microbiome, you have abundant good bacteria and are typically unaffected by fungus, mold, and yeast. When your gut bacteria are destroyed, fungus and mold can overgrow. Most people don’t know about the invisible middleman making more than 10 of the top drug companies combined. Healthcare may seem like a broken system, but it’s actually not broken at all. It works great; it’s just not working for you. Pharmacy benefit managers use their contracts to make massive profits off of everyone. PBMs may appear to be helpful. They negotiate lower prices for manufacturing companies, reduce out-of-pocket expenses, and handle logistics between employers and insurance companies. Pharmacy benefit managers charge the employer a very high price and pay the pharmacies a very low price, pocketing the difference. This is known as spread pricing. PBMs decide which drugs your plan covers, how much you’ll pay out of pocket, which pharmacy you can use, and when or if you’ll get your medication. Cheaper and better drugs are often denied if PBMs don’t get a big enough rebate. They can even force you to fill your prescriptions at specific PBM pharmacies for more profit. Drug companies have to give PBMs a kickback or “rebate” to get their drugs covered by insurance companies. To afford this rebate, drug companies raise the list price, and PBMs promote the drug that gives them the most profit. Pharmacy benefit managers own insurance companies and pharmacies. Three of the largest PBMs control 80% of the medications in the U.S. Surprisingly, PBMs don’t exist in other countries. The thyroid gland is small but controls your digestive system and metabolism. If your thyroid hormones are too high, you may notice bulging eyes, a fast metabolism, significant weight loss, and excessive sweating. A hypothyroid will cause weight gain and hair loss. Around 90% of hypothyroidism is an issue related to the immune system called Hashimoto’s. If you have Hashimoto’s, you’ll want to avoid gluten and increase selenium and vitamin D3. Androgens include testosterone and DHT. High levels of androgens can cause acne, specifically around the jawline and on the back. Women may experience a deepened voice, increased facial hair, and may also notice hair thinning. Men with high androgens may experience balding. To keep your androgen levels normal, avoid carbohydrates, sugar, and starches, and avoid frequent eating. Also, use a high-quality water filter to avoid plastics. High cortisol symptoms include a round face (cortisol face), buffalo hump, and weight gain in the midsection. High cortisol can exaggerate stretch marks in women and speed up aging. High estrogen symptoms include a puffy face, spider veins, skin tags, and melasma. Low estrogen can make you appear older and cause wrinkles. Cholesterol is vital for estrogen production, so certain drugs and low-fat diets could cause your estrogen levels to decrease. When growth hormone declines, you may look older and gain weight in the midsection. Intense exercise for short durations, a low-carb diet, and more sleep can increase growth hormone. High progesterone is rare but can cause fluid retention. Low progesterone is much more common and can cause a puffy face. You might also appear dull and tired, and may experience acne. High insulin symptoms include belly fat, skin tags, and swollen eyes. Low insulin can cause excessive weight loss, cravings for carbs, and constant hunger. Claims that the carnivore diet could be dangerous in the long term discourage people from trying it. Amidst claims that a meat-only diet could be dangerous, our current dietary standards leave the population riddled with chronic disease. When first starting a meat-only diet, most people lose excess water weight. Your carbs are essentially dropped to zero, so you quickly get into ketosis. A 30-day carnivore diet can also improve gut health and digestion, and boost weight loss. Plants and fiber are not the best options for healing the gut. Adding fiber to an inflamed gut will only make matters worse. Plants also do not contain vital amino acids. When you go on a 30-day carnivore diet, you stop consuming grains, the source of most of our sugar consumption. Refined starch made from grains will spike your blood sugar even higher than actual sugar. Most grains are genetically modified, sprayed with chemicals, and contain traces of glyphosate, which is classified as an antibiotic. When you eliminate sugar and refined grains from the diet, you stop feeding the pathogens in your microbiome. This can starve and eliminate an overgrowth of fungus, candida, and yeast. When asked about weight loss, ChatGPT explains that “losing weight comes down to creating a sustainable calorie deficit.” This is a persistent dogma that focuses on how much you eat rather than what you eat! This advice makes sustainable weight loss difficult and will not eliminate cravings and hunger. ChatGPT recommends the Mediterranean diet as best for overall health. It groups red meat, sugar, and processed foods together as foods to avoid and recommends plant-based diets as superior. ChatGPT recommends avoiding keto and carnivore diets on a long-term basis. ChatGPT health advice comes from organizations such as the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association, which are heavily funded by certain industries and inherently biased. To lower cholesterol, ChatGPT claims you should lower dietary cholesterol, increase unsaturated fats, and replace animal proteins with plant proteins. Plants do not have complete protein, and if you reduce your dietary cholesterol, you could end up low in bile and vitamin D. Cholesterol is a vital component of your cell membranes, hormones, and brain. ChatGPT falsely claims that seed oils are not “that bad” when used in moderation. Balance and moderation allow you to continue eating bad food without worrying about the consequences. If you have a chronic disease, you can not simply “balance” your diet. If you have diabetes, you do not want to spike insulin with carbohydrates. ChatGPT recommends legumes and grains for people with diabetes and small, frequent meals. This advice would continue to spike insulin, and would not help reverse diabetes! When asked about diet and nutrition for people with chronic diseases, ChatGPT ignores powerful ways to drastically improve one's health, such as increasing vitamin D and fasting. It continues to recommend moderation for ultra-processed foods, claiming that it is safe and healthy for 20% of your daily calories to be ultra-processed. Many people describe feelings of euphoria and bliss after a 3-day fast. Fasting is often done for spiritual or mental benefits, and it’s the only way to achieve deep cleaning in the body. Extended fasting is also a great way to exercise willpower. One of the most significant risk factors for cancer is age, due to the cumulative damage to your cells. Cancer tends to grow into areas of inflammation and low oxygen, and fasting is one of the most potent ways to reduce inflammation. Cancer can not live on the ketones that come from fasting. Ketones support your brain and even activate genes that extend your life. Extended fasting may prevent cancer, so aim for a monthly 72-hour fast. Fasting significantly lowers insulin. Your body can not grow a tumor when insulin is low. To further reduce cancer risk, increase oxygen by going for long walks while fasting. Exercise significantly increases oxygen. Growth hormone also increases while you’re fasting, which helps you burn fat and preserve muscle. Lack of sleep You could feel exhausted all the time simply because you lack sleep. Alcohol, overtraining, and eating too late can interfere with sleep. Chocolate consumption can increase theobromine, similar to caffeine, which can interfere with sleep if consumed too late. Try taking magnesium one hour before bed to help you relax. Vitamin B1 is also vital for quality sleep. Did you know that going outside in the morning to watch the sunrise can improve your sleep? Try it! 2. Cellular hypothyroidism Thyroid hormones go into every cell in your body, controlling metabolism and energy levels. If your thyroid is not working properly, you will likely experience fatigue. Increase selenium to improve thyroid function. Brazil nuts, sardines, shellfish, and grass-fed liver are excellent sources of selenium. 3. Stress A severe stress, such as the loss of a loved one, can cause your immune system to shut down because of the cortisol spike. This allows latent viruses like the Epstein-Barr virus to come out of remission and cause chronic fatigue syndrome. High doses of vitamin D can help. Try making your own L. reuteri yogurt, one of the best remedies for high cortisol. Increasing magnesium and sodium and taking long walks in the woods can also reduce cortisol levels. 4. Histamine overload An enzyme in your body naturally breaks down histamine. Alcohol, medications, and gut damage can inhibit this enzyme’s function, increasing histamine levels. Avoid aged cheeses, vinegar, canned fish, and fermented vegetables if you suspect a histamine sensitivity. 5. Blood sugar Consuming high amounts of carbohydrates or sugar during the day often leads to blood sugar fluctuations at night. Frequent night waking decreases energy during the day. Carb consumption depletes vitamin B1, which can cause restless legs syndrome, waking you up. 6. Sleep disturbances Sleep apnea and being too hot or too cold can interfere with your sleep. Frequent urination caused by too much snacking or too many carbs can also be the culprit. 7. Protein intake If you’re not consuming enough high-quality protein, it could be the reason you’re feeling exhausted all the time.
