Minneapolis Socialism, Corruption in Minnesota, and the Future of Our State

Brothers and sisters, open your eyes and open your ears, because today we’re not just talking about Minneapolis. We’re talking about the entire state of Minnesota. We’re talking about corruption, socialism, fraud, and what it means for every voter—Black, white, rich, poor, urban, rural—every single one of us who is tired of being hustled by politicians who pretend to serve us while serving themselves.”

The Fateh Fallout & The Socialist Agenda

Now, let’s start where the headlines are—the DFL pulling its endorsement of Senator Omar Fateh for Minneapolis mayor. They claim it’s about integrity, they claim it’s about values. But let’s be real: this is politics, not principles. When a party distances itself from a candidate, it’s not because they suddenly found religion on accountability. It’s because the heat got too hot.

But here’s the bigger issue: if Minneapolis elects a socialist mayor and a socialist-majority city council, what does that mean for Minnesota? Because Minneapolis is not some little town nobody cares about. Minneapolis sets the tone for the entire state. And if the city becomes a testing ground for socialism, it will bleed into statewide policies.

Let’s look at what these so-called “progressive” policies have already done:

• Defund the Police—We saw it in 2020. They said they were going to dismantle the police department and replace it with a Department of Public Safety. Crime skyrocketed, carjackings became a daily headline, and who suffered most? Working-class neighborhoods, Black and brown communities, single mothers who can’t afford private security.

• Rent Control—Sounds good on paper, right? But every city that has tried rent control ends up with fewer rental properties, higher rents overall, and landlords abandoning neighborhoods.

• Free This, Free That—They talk about universal basic income, guaranteed housing, free transportation. But ask them: who pays for it? YOU do. The taxpayers do. And when the money runs out, what do they do? They raise your taxes, they punish businesses, and they drive jobs out of the city.

Socialism sounds like salvation when you’re struggling, but history tells us the truth: socialism destroys opportunity and creates dependency.

Segment 2: Historical Context – The Socialist Lie

Let’s take a step back. Look at history. Every time a society has tried socialism on a large scale, it has failed:

• The Soviet Union—They promised equality, they delivered poverty and oppression.

• Cuba—They promised to free the people, they delivered dictatorship.

• Venezuela—One of the richest countries in the world until socialism drained its wealth and left people starving.

Now they’ll tell you: “That’s not the kind of socialism we want. We want democratic socialism, like Scandinavia.” But let me tell you something—they don’t tell you that Scandinavia’s success isn’t socialism. Those countries run strong capitalist economies and fund social programs with high taxes on everyone, not just the rich. Try suggesting a 25% tax increase to the average Minnesotan and see how that works out.

Corruption – Minnesota’s Dirty Secret

Now, while they’re talking socialism, let’s talk about the elephant in the room—corruption. Minnesota has been rocked by some of the biggest fraud cases in the country:

• Feeding Our Future Scandal—$250 million stolen from taxpayers in a scheme that was supposed to feed hungry kids.

• Ballot Harvesting Allegations—Whispers and videos about political operatives collecting votes illegally in key districts.

• Nonprofit Scams—Millions flowing into “community organizations” that never deliver real results.

And where’s the accountability? Where are the perp walks? Where are the resignations? Instead of answers, we get excuses. They make it about race. They make it about partisanship. They do everything except admit the truth: too many politicians in this state have been bought and sold.

The Candidates & The False Choice

Now, look ahead to 2026. On the Republican side, you’ve got Scott Jensen, Kendall Qualls, Kristin Robbins, and Phillip C. Parrish. On paper, they look like good options, but ask yourself:

• What’s their plan for real accountability?

• What’s their strategy for restoring law and order without turning Minnesota into a police state?

• How do they stop fraud without suppressing legitimate voters?

Because too many of these candidates are career politicians in waiting. They talk tough now, but once they get a seat at the table, they eat the same meal as the people they replaced.

Minneapolis City Council – The Radical Crew

Now let’s call out some names:

• Robin Wonsley—Openly socialist, pushing rent control and anti-police measures.

• Jason Chavez—Supports “reimagining public safety,” code for cutting cops.

• Aisha Chughtai—Another voice for radical progressive policies.

They’ll tell you they’re fighting for justice, but ask yourself—justice for who? Because it’s not justice when businesses flee. It’s not justice when Black neighborhoods are left unprotected. It’s not justice when taxpayers foot the bill for failed experiments.

What Do We Do About it

This is where Malcolm X said something powerful: “You don’t stick a knife in a man’s back nine inches and then pull it out six inches and call it progress.”Minnesota, that knife has been in your back for decades. These politicians talk about progress, but the only progress they’re making is towards their own power and wealth.

So what do we do?

• We organize—Not around parties, but around principles.

• We educate—Stop letting the media spoon-feed you talking points.

• We hold them accountable—Demand receipts, demand audits, demand resignations when corruption is exposed.

• We vote smart—Not for tradition, not for slogans, but for candidates who put Minnesota first and have a record to prove it.

Closing

Minnesota, the time for sitting on the sidelines is over. The time for blind loyalty is over. The time for accountability is now. If we allow this corruption, this fraud, this radical agenda to take root, don’t cry tomorrow when Minneapolis becomes the model for a broken state.

This is Da Urban Conservative, and I’m telling you the truth they don’t want you to hear!!

The power is in your hands—but only if you’re willing to use it.
