RFK Jr cuts mRNA research funding

Our first story is covering the recent cuts done by HHS secretary RFK Jr to mRNA vaccine technology. 22 vaccine contracts were cut by RFK totaling an amount of $500m. This funding was moved to fund other, trusted, vaccines. RFK detailed that these vaccines are inefficient at stopping upper respiratory viruses, like Covid-19. The Guardian claims that the vaccine research was necessary and was cut for no good reason.

Judge blocks DEI crackdown in education department

A Trump appointed judge blocks an executive order made by Trump to stop DEI initiatives. She cites only her feelings for the reason as to why she blocks it. No laws were broken, nor anything done that was unconstitutional. She says that schools maybe burden by these changes. Boo hoo.

Illegal immigrant charged with vehicular manslaughter in Florida

An illegal immigrant was charged vehicular manslaughter after making an illegal U-turn on a Florida toll highway on August 12th, 2025. He received his CDL from an family owned company in California. He has since been denied bond. At this time it is unknown if it was incompetence, or pure malice.
