China Backs India Against Trump’s 50% US Tariffs Over Increased Trade With Russia | N18G

China’s ambassador to India, Xu Feihong, said on Thursday that Beijing opposes the 50% tariffs imposed by the United States on Indian goods. He stated that the US has been using tariffs on other countries to demand exorbitant prices. Feihong added that China will support India in upholding the multilateral trading system under the World Trade Organization. He also emphasised that China and India can cooperate on trade and achieve better outcomes together.
