📍 Tianjin will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit From August 31 to September 1, with over 20 foreign leaders and representatives from international organizations in attendance.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit China on August 31–September 3, where he will take part in the summit.

Among the other leaders attending are heads of state from Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Maldives, Nepal, Turkiye, Egypt, Turkmenistan, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
