Subjects of Domination

For most of us, we enter this world as unwitting subjects of domination, shaped from the start by the authority of our parents, later by employers, governments, and the myriad forces that seek to impose their will upon us.In facing such subjugation, individuals typically respond in one of several ways. The first is submission, the path chosen by the majority—yielding to the pressures, though some may offer only a veiled, indirect opposition through subtle acts of defiance. The second is outright defiance, not the petulant rebellion of immaturity, but a firm, principled stand; yet this carries the grave risk of utter defeat, where one might be crushed and held up as a cautionary tale to deter others. The third is withdrawal, a recognition that neither compliance nor confrontation serves any purpose, leading to a deliberate disengagement from the fray.Whichever course one selects, it must be pursued free of rage or bitterness. There is no value in dwelling or simmering in turmoil; simply act on your inner conviction, allow events to unfold as they will, and proceed with an unyielding composure—a quiet fortitude that declares your spirit unbreakable.
