Win Some and Lose Some Not Marine Enough Challenges, and the GOP Knows What a Woman Is

WASHINGTON (August 22, 2025)—In the most educated municipality in fhe seventh most educated state in the nation, even if school board candidates have been silent, after Monique “Moe” Bryant, Executive Director of Challenging Racism, had captured the Arlington Democrats endorsement in the party nomination caucus, in which only 1.1% of the 168,000 active voters had even participated, and soundly defeating teachers’ union boss, June Prakash, President of the Arlington Education Association, national headlines found the eyes of the world upon the shining example of Winsome Sears, the veteran Marine, taking on the too hot to handle issue for local candidates: where a child can use the restroom, spinning into a racial name calling debacle. Who says sticks and stones can hurt your bones, but names will never hurt you? Tell it to the Marine.

Off radar, one make-a-statement and not a serious option candidate for Arlington Public School Board is heading down to Richmond in a case brought against Planned Parenthood last year on the nominal sale of a million dollar property from the city, as conservative attorneys who lost that case are moving to appeal a dismissal in Loudoun, also on the restroom issue. Major Mike Webb, not endorsed nor supported by any political party, or religious freedom organization, is taking on the former Richmond Mayor and the city prosecutor on an issue that clearly fell outside of the ambit of bodily autonomy or women’s healthcare.
