Acts 1:9-11 Jesus Is Alive Today
Intro: The book of Acts is not a doctrinal book. It contains doctrine but it is the historical record of the beginning of the church at Pentecost and how the gospel spread to the Jews and the Gentiles. Every false and crazy church activity has come from taking what God was doing to protect and guide His church at the beginning and turned it into doctrine. Jesus Christ built His church at the beginning before the scriptures with signs and wonders that ceased. It is a supernatural book! We don’t see the supernatural anymore but we see the results of the supernatural. But the main theme of Acts is that Jesus is ALIVE and is ALIVE forevermore at the right hand of God.
