Pamela Anderson starred in a television advertising campaign for Virgin Mobile in 2006, promoting its Mobile TV service.
The ad, created by RKCR/Y&R, featured Anderson lounging by a pool and watching the British soap opera Coronation Street on her Lobster 700TV phone.
She then used the phone for a video call with her agent, who informed her of a new deal requiring her to wear her red swimsuit, a humorous reference to her past roles and the idea of participating in wrestling matches with "huge" co-stars.
This campaign marked a significant moment in Virgin Mobile's advertising, positioning Anderson against her former Baywatch co-star David Hasselhoff, who was promoting broadband services for Pipex.
