On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mikis Theodorakis, the ERT National Symphony Orchestra traveled to Egypt and, in collaboration with the A Capella choir of the Cairo Opera House, presented on April 8, 2025, the monumental work "Zorba", in the main hall of the Cairo Opera House, under the direction of the conductor of the ERT National Symphony Orchestra, Michalis Economou, with the soloist mezzo soprano Nefeli Kotseli.

The magnificent concert was held in collaboration with the Greek Embassy, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture/Directorate of International Cultural Relations and the Cairo Opera House.
