Leadership - Stay Out Of The Ditches

All of us have the tendencies to drive in the ditches. We either don't do something enough, which is one ditch OR we push or do that certain item too much, which is the other ditch.
Leadership and management is all about efficiency and effectiveness. There is an optimal point that provides the maximum benefit to our organization.
Our goal is to put in just enough processes and procedures and then stop ourselves from doing too much. I explain the common trap that most of us fall into.
I regularly hear about things where organizations are not doing something enough or doing that same thing way too much. We always need to be checking and listening to people with a different point of view.
Just because something is highly beneficial when we start, does not mean that going all in will be the most beneficial.
