Lavrov went to our media this weekend. We know on Jan 16 the UK signed a 100 year agreement in fear of what Trump would do. Trump campaigned that he would end the war in one day. If Europe and our so-called allies would not have rushed in to stop Trump it would be solved. If the Biden administration and Europe would have told you the truth that Russia won, you would have accepted that Ukraine needed to negotiate from a position of surrender. The Russians have always told Trump admin that the root causes need to go, there needs to be a Russian friendly parliament and president in Ukraine. Now after Trump meets with Russia, Lavrov goes on NBC and he has not changed.
Zelensky has put in place martial law, has cracked down on the Russian Orthodox Church, he has put himself in as a dictator. Zelensky is no more than Maduro in Venezuela. Russia is not going to deal with him because he is not a democratically elected leader. There are a lot of factors out there. Putin is going to China for 4 days. Remember China has come out to say they will help with the peace negotiations and maybe China will put together the security guarantees for Ukraine. Most Americans don’t understand the concept of someone winning the war.
