Setting the Scene: Spiritual Pushback and the Updraft

Before we get into the theology, let me be candid about the present moment. There was a significant moment recently — what some have called a “mic drop” — and with it came pushback. That’s normal. Wherever the Lord is doing a thing, the enemy will try to stir unrest. I spoke plainly because I was led to speak plainly. When crows harass an eagle, the eagle doesn’t fight back; it rises into the updraft. That’s what we’re called to do: rise above petty attacks, breathe the rarified air of God’s purpose, and let the opposition fall away.

I also gave a direct charge in the sanctuary: any wolf in sheep’s clothing operating at a counter-purpose to the Lord’s agenda, be exposed now. We bind witchcraft, sorcery, Freemasonry — anything operating in secret against Jesus Christ — and we cover this house with the blood. The warning is serious because the blessing of the Lord does not tolerate hidden sabotage.

The 2 AM Word: The Lord’s Promise for 2025

On the night of December 30th the Lord woke me and spoke a single, clear commission: He wanted to bless us in 2025. Since then the overarching themes have been restoration, restitution, recovery, increase — a double for your trouble. Those are not just catchphrases. They are the stitching together of Job’s double restoration, Joseph’s pit-to-palace movement, and David’s long wait finally crowned in his season.

"I want to bless you. What does bless mean? To confer divine favor or protection...to invoke divine care...to provision you with good fortune...to protect and preserve you, to sanctify you and consecrate you."

That is the core of what God said: He is not promising only material transfer; He is promising impartation — power, favor, sanctification and consecration. He will set us apart and provide the divine enablement to walk into new territory.

What Blessing Really Means

We live in a culture that equates blessing with accumulation — houses, cars, bank accounts. The Word challenges that reduction. In Proverbs 10:22 it is written, "The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it." The key word is makes. The blessing is a creative, generative force. It is not the byproduct; it is the producer.

Think of the blessing as a money-making machine rather than the bills it produces. The blessing manufactures prosperity. The fruit is real, but the source is the empowering presence of God. That changes how we pray. Instead of pleading for a particular item, we must pray for the blessing that creates sustainable, sorrow-free increase.

Jacob

Jacob left his father’s household with little but returned with multitudes because the blessing rested on him. The blessing is not contingent on what you currently own; it is the power to create success in the future regardless of current lack.

Joseph

Sold into a pit, betrayed, falsely accused, jailed — yet the outcome favored Joseph. The events intended for harm were turned by God into the path of promotion. Blessing ensures that outcomes favor the one under it.

Job

Job lost everything. The blessing didn’t prevent loss, but it guaranteed double restoration. A blessed person recovers from loss with increase and testimony.

Daniel and Mordecai

Daniel prospered even in exile; Mordecai’s enemies plotted his death and ended up honoring him. When God’s blessing is present, the outcome favors His people.

How to Attract the Blessing

If blessing is divine empowerment, how do you position yourself to receive it? The word the Lord gave me points to practical obedience:

Bless those who curse you. Jesus taught this for a reason. When you respond to evil with blessing, you release the atmosphere for God to work on your behalf.
Pray for those who mistreat you. This is not sentimental; it is spiritual strategy. It breaks cycles and opens heaven’s economy toward you.
Give generously. "Give and it shall be given unto you..." — sowing produces a harvest pressed down and running over because the blessing moves through generosity.
Honor God’s appointed leaders. Spiritual alignment matters. As you honor men and women God has anointed, you position yourself under the covering of blessing.
Stay on the right side of righteousness. Obedience and a heart that refuses to repay evil with evil invites God’s favor.
Evidence of a Blessed Life

How will you know the blessing is upon someone? There are unmistakable dynamics:

Restoration with Increase: Like Job, the blessed recover losses and gain more than what was lost.
Outcomes Favor the Blessed: No matter the conspiracy or plot, the blessed one’s story bends toward promotion and vindication.
Fruitfulness Where There Was Lack: Like Jacob crossing back with a staff and returning with flocks and households, the blessed produce where nothing seemed possible.
Peace and Shalom: Real, unshakable peace accompanies the blessing. I myself sat in the aftermath of a contentious week and felt perfect shalom.
Practical Declaration and Application

Let this be our posture: we ask for the blessing, not merely the things produced by it. Make the Jabez prayer your confession:

"Oh God, bless me indeed. Enlarge my territory. Let your hand be upon me so I feel no pain nor cause pain."

Pray it. Mean it. Then move in obedience: bless others, give, honor God’s servants, and refuse to let offenses root bitterness in your heart. When the blessing lands, money will chase you; opportunities will reposition themselves; doors will open that were previously blocked.

A Final Word About Friday’s Turning Point

This past Friday was a demarcation point in our timeline. For those who have been with us through the last three years, you know we have been moving through testing and refining. Friday marked a public moment where things were clarified and the blessing reinstalled. The spiritual atmosphere has shifted. The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former.

So do not be distracted by the noise. The enemy is loud when a blessing is about to drop. Refuse to match his volume. Rise in the updraft. Walk forward in the power the Lord is giving us to create, to multiply, and to bless.

Anchor your faith in the biblical reality: the blessing makes rich; it is not merely a material handout but an empowerment. Let us be people who ask God for the blessing and then steward it for the expansion of God’s kingdom.
