Lil Nas X pleads not guilty to felony charges of assaulting police

Grammy-winning musician Lil Nas X pleaded not guilty on Monday (August 25) to four felony charges after police say he assaulted officers who approached the singer while he was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear. His attorney, Drew Findling, said the incident was not "unusual," particularly when you have the "pressure of being recognized internationally." Robert Stafford, Lil Nas X's father, said his son was apologetic.
