Superhero Films Just Had the WORST Box Office Year in Over a Decade!

For the first time since 2011, there will be NO superhero film cracking $700 Million at the box office. The two big hopes on the year, Superman and The Fantastic Four, tremendously underperformed and any hope for a dark horse was snuffed out earlier in the year, weeks into Captain America: Brave New World and The Thunderbolts run. The genre is dead, but we have years of this shambling corpse being paraded around by Hollywood as they have nothing on the horizon to directly pivot towards. It's going to get so much worse...
