MEDIA MADNESS / COFFEE WITH PB

DEAR PASTOR BOB: When it comes to watching movies and television series, what is deemed as being “safe” for a Christian to watch. The reason I ask is because I have for as long as I can remember heard “everything is the devil” coming out of Church leaders mouths. While this is definitely not true, it’s hard to distinguish what to avoid. There are shows that might be a very gray area. I steer clear of the obvious like Horror Genres for example, and a lot of violence or gore. I do enjoy fantasy, the DC Universe, Marvel, and comedy, though. I would appreciate some advice on this matter. I hate screwing up my Christian life all the time, simply out of ignorance.
