HARNWELL: POTUS should name a special envoy to monitor NATO “allies” 5% GDP on defence expenditure

AS SURE AS THE TURNING OF THE EARTH they will try to deduct this spending off their 5% GDP pledge — that POTUS demanded in order to establish a PERMANENT PEACE. Not war.

POTUS should consider appointing a special envoy — someone with military experience but who can also read a balance sheet — who will have veto authority over Europeans’ defence budgets. To hold them in line.
