From Homeless to Hopeful: My Open Call for Help (Portland Oregon)

My name is Shiloh, I live in Portland Oregon and I’m reaching out because I need a second chance at life—not a handout, but a purpose.

A few years ago, I lost everything while living overseas. I came back to the U.S. with nothing and spent months homeless. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am today, but I’m still stuck with no family, no friends, and severe social anxiety that makes starting over difficult.

I believe I still have something to give. I want to help people, help the planet, or be part of a self-sustaining community where we work together for the greater good. I’m a hard worker—I just need someone to give me a chance.
