In the Novopavlovsk direction, Russian troops, after more than half a year of fighting, expelled the enemy from the central part of Udachnoye.

In a strategic shift, military forces advanced along the southern periphery, breaching the defense lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Volchya, subsequently leading to the liberation of Filya.

The following is a chronicle of the battles in the direction.

By August 22, the RF troops had cleared the forest strips south of Udachnoye and expanded the control zone in the center of the settlement.

Several days prior, Russian military forces expelled the opposing forces from their positions along the Kotlyarovka-Orekhovo area, subsequently advancing towards the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
