Dr James Thorp MD

Dr. Thorp is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine physician with 46 years of experience in obstetrics. He remains active in clinical practice and has dedicated his career to both patient care and clinical research.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Thorp has cared for a high volume of high-risk pregnant patients while maintaining a strong presence in academic medicine. He has authored 224 scientific publications, including approximately 40 focused on COVID-19. He has served as a peer reviewer for major medical journals and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine for three years. In addition, he has served as an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Thorp served in the United States Air Force, where he was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship for his medical education. In 2003, he testified before the U.S. Senate under the Bush administration on the topic of “Treating the Fetus as a Patient,” highlighting advancements in in-utero therapies. He later returned to testify before the Senate on December 7, 2022, and again on May 21, 2025, addressing concerns about the “Corruption of Science and Government Agencies.”

In recent years, Dr. Thorp has concentrated his research on the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in the publication of over 32 related scientific articles. His latest book, Sacrifice: How the Deadliest Vaccine in History Targeted the Most Vulnerable, was released on February 18, 2025.

Dr. Thorp has also appeared in several documentary films, including Shot Dead and Died Suddenly. He currently practices as a maternal-fetal medicine specialist in a major hospital, serves as Chief of Maternal and Prenatal Health at The Wellness Company (TWC.health), and is a founding member of the Advanced Biological Research Group (ABRG.org).
