I Don't Want To Hear It

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Matt 13:15 (KJV)

Imagine if you went to the doctor and he said sit down your test results are back, I have something to tell you.

And you put your fingers in your ears and started to scream “I feel fine, I don’t want to hear it”.

Then you get up and run out the door.

That’s what it’s like to try to tell some about God and their eternal destiny when they don’t want to hear it.

They live by the principal “I’m a good person”

They also believe this to be a fact “Good people go to heaven” ask anybody?

They also believe that only “Murders, Rapist, and Child Molesters go to hell” ask anybody?

Most people have a few problems witnessing to others, here are a few.

You don’t have to convince anyone, that’s the Holy Spirits job.

You don’t have to defend God, you’re not his lawyer.

When you witness to someone, “Tell them what you believe and why you believe it, that’s it.”

Your only job is to “Plant the seed”
