I've bought duplicate boxes just one time as it was such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up. For the past year, I try something different with each box purchase as there are SO MANY good cigars to try still. Some brands/blends I'll try a single first, such as this enjoyable EP Carrillo/Casa Carrillo Sumatra.
There are MANY others that I'll box-buy without even sampling the blend first, like Aganorsa Leaf, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, and Espinosa, since they've been such reliable brands.
