At least 15 people were killed in what a Christian advocacy group has called "a coordinated evening assault on Christian farming villages" in Nigeria.

The assailants killed people, burnt homes and looted livestock, both organizations report, causing other families to leave their homes after the attack.

While it is not certain that every individual killed was a Christian, the villages targeted, including Tim, Koppang, Mihidihin, Jiblang, Jilem, Jibin and Manden, are generally Christian, along with the rest of the Mangu local authority.
