Fifth grader says a friend shielded him as shots were fired during Mass

At least two children were killed in a shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School during Mass to mark the first week of school, according to police, in a “deliberate act of violence.” Weston Halsne, a fifth grader, said a friend who shielded him from gunfire was shot in the back as they hid under the pews.
