Police Attacked by Man with Knife

Officers with the Cheektowaga Police Department knocked on the door of a residence when the door suddenly gave way. A shirtless man emerged armed with a knife and immediately lunged toward the officers in an attempt to stab them. One officer fired his weapon to stop the attack, ending the confrontation within seconds.
