Mankind is in natural rebellion against God. In his pride he will do everything he can to live independently from God. Babel - means confusion! So God confused their languages to contain their sin.
So in God's plan He raises a man - Abraham to start a nation by which Jesus the Messiah will save the world from its rebellion and sin!
