In 1979, a married woman called Sheila Sullivan decided to live "as a gay man." She left her husband, got top surgery, and began a search for a surgeon to perform her bottom surgery, but no one wants to because she's "gay," and also every time they try the neuticles rot out. Then she caught gender-affirming HIV, developed AIDS, and began calling her old doctors to gloat about her impending death.

name located after I burned this video. What's incredible about this video is how it establishes that some of the tropes you'll all recognize have in fact existed since at least the 1980s.

Lou left her husband to become a gay man, in part because her husband didn't identify as gay and didn't want to participate in the gay lifestyle. In the midst of her 3rd or 4th bottom surgery revision pretendicle implantation, she was diagnostic with AIDS.

Catching what she considered a "gay man's disease" was affirming of her gender, so she called up all the doctors who wouldn't do revision ball-installs to tell tell them she's such a gay man she got AIDS. She died in 1991 at the age of 40.
