8.24.2025 "We Have a Building From God" (2 Corinthians 5:1-11)

Life in this world is filled with burdens, struggles, and disappointments—but Paul reminds us that these things are only temporary. In this week’s message, Pastor Joel shares how our earthly bodies, described as fragile “tents,” are wearing down, but God has prepared for us a permanent, eternal dwelling—a building from Him, not made with human hands.

As believers, we can take courage knowing:
* Our inner life is being renewed by God’s Spirit, even while our outer life is wasting away.
* The sufferings of this present world are momentary compared to the eternal glory ahead.
* We have the Holy Spirit as a pledge and guarantee of what is to come.
* Our true ambition in this life is to please God as we walk by faith, not by sight.

This passage calls us to live with courage, boldness, and eternal hope, fixing our eyes not on what is temporary but on the eternal reality of life with Christ.
