Sen. Amy Klobuchar After Church Shooting In Minneapolis: 'There's No Way To Pin An Ideology On This'

Posted • August 28, 2025: Compare the New York Post's Front Page to Other Media Semi-Coverage of the Minneapolis Shooter — Whenever there's a tragic shooting and all the details don't fit what is unfortunately a desired narrative for Democrats and much of the media, they just do their thing. That "thing" is of course to ignore those inconveniences. Senator Amy Klobuchar did that very thing yesterday: —— We have a manifesto. We have pictures. We have video. —— Democrats: “We may never know why he did this.” —— Sen. Klobuchar after Annunciation Church shooting in Minneapolis: "There's no way to pin an ideology on this." —— Replace "Donald Trump" on the shooter's kill list with the name of a Democrat and I'm pretty sure Klobuchar would have been able to pin an ideology on the murderer. Predictably, many media outlets are helping cover up parts of the story that might be more inconvenient to the Left.

As a matter of fact, in an ABC News they seemed to be trying to give the impression that the shooter was a supporter of Trump by leaving out some important context: ABC reporter refers to “the name of President Trump written on the guns” without mentioning that the message was “kill Donald Trump” https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1960800644652007424/vid/avc1/1280x720/a8WNG1FsoVb_6I97.mp4 —— Yeah, it's totally true that you can't loathe the media enough. Let's move on to CNN, which didn't seem it necessary in this story to mention that the shooter was trans: CNN also fails to report shooter was trans. When news organizations routinely omit relevant facts about an incident to protect sacred ideological cows, that is not journalism. People don't trust the media for good reason. —— CNN: How the ‘absolutely incomprehensible’ shooting unfolded at Annunciation Catholic School https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/28/us/annunciation-catholic-school-shooting-minneapolis

"That is not journalism" should be CNN's slogan. USA Today took a similar approach in this story: —— USA Today: A shooter attacked children in prayer. Has America hit a new low? https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2025/08/28/minneapolis-shooting-church-safety/85858692007/ —— Nowhere in that entire USA story is it mentioned that the shooter was trans, and on the list of other recent shootings the Nashville attack is omitted. The dots the "journalist" who wrote the story would like readers to connect, however, couldn't be more obvious: Somebody hold USA Today's beer. Their article on the Minneapolis school shooting omits the fact the shooting was trans, but manages to include this: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GzcA6XMXAAAM2xP?format=jpg&name=medium —— "Let's talk about this example of left-wing violence by spotlighting right-wing violence" wasn't unexpected, considering the source.

Not unlike Sen. Klobuchar, MSNBC didn't want to speculate about a motive and ideology, despite the fact that it's fairly obvious: MSNBC reports on the MN trans shooter manifesto video — showing “Kill Donald Trump” written on a magazine: “We won’t get into the particular details…specific motivation and ideology to be determined." —— It's sure clear what MSNBC's motivation and ideology are. The New York Times also came up empty as to a motive, but at least they were very careful not to misgender the person who murdered and wounded children -- wouldn't want to offend! —— 🚨 We may never know why the tranny spree killer who left behind a manifesto shot all those people. It was probably because of guns, right? And whatever you do, don't disrespect him by using his scientifically accurate pronouns. He's the real victim here. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GzcMcpqXUAEihRY?format=png&name=small —— Absolutely nauseating.

The New York Post is one of the few media outlets to frame the story a bit more accurately. This will send CNN, MSNBC and USA Today to their fainting couches: The New York Post gets it. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GzcAPVXWcAAPbQQ?format=jpg&name=large —— Finally somebody framed the story much closer to what actually happened. After mass shootings, Dems and media always claim Americans need to have "hard conversations," but they don't really mean it. Watching them try to tap dance around the desired narrative landmines in this particular story couldn't make that more clear.
