Dems Pivot As Scott Jennings Suggests Honest Talk On Guns And 'Affirming' Transgender Mental Illness

Posted • August 28, 2025: On Wednesday, a mentally unstable man who believed he was a woman opened fire on a Minneapolis church, killing two children and injuring many others. In the wake of that tragedy, Republican commentator Scott Jennings says it’s time to focus on the real causes of gun violence instead of focusing on guns and stripping law-abiding Americans of their constitutional rights. Expectedly, Democrats on Wednesday’s CNN NewsNight wanted nothing to do with an honest conversation on their party celebrating and promoting 'transgender' mental illness and the deadly effects thereof. It turns out, they just want our guns. We can no longer tip-toe around this issue.” —— “The mental illness was encouraged” spot on.

Democrats insist on lying to confused, mentally-unwell individuals (especially children) that through injections, surgery, and other ‘treatments’ a man can become a woman and vice versa. Psychologist Dr. Jeffrey Gardere is instead worried about mentally stable Americans legally purchasing and owning guns. Posters have a question for him regarding neighborhoods where illegal firearms and violence are prevalent. Ask Gardere if he's talking about guns in black neighborhoods, "what about people who don't have mental illness?" They never answer that. They aren't even allowed to ask for some reason! It’s (D)ifferent. The Democrat 'solution' to blue city violence perpetrated by individuals with illegal guns is to strip law-abiding Americans in red suburbs and red rural areas of their legally purchased weapons. It’s a stupid position to hold, but that’s what Democrats believe based on their words and actions.

Gardere, like all Democrats (including CNN host Abby Phillip), wants to shift any conversation away from their party’s coddling of blue city criminals and their affirmations and 'treatments' of the mentally ill trans community that apparently led to Wednesday's shooting. It was obvious he wanted to change the subject real fast. We’re not falling for that crap. "Scott, but what about people who dont have mental illness?"…well they're not going around murdering people. So there's that. —— The last question, “but if you took away the mental illness…” the answer is, yes, then no one would have died. Roughly 30% of Americans legally own guns; they’re not the problem. The rise in trans violence started a little over a decade ago. The recent rise in 'trans terrorism' can be traced back to the removal of gender identity disorder from the DSM-5. When you don't give people the help they need, their condition only gets worse. And then this kind of stuff happens. It's not rocket science, folks.

It can be traced to Obama categorizing them as a protected class during his last year in office and all the deviant accourtrement to follow. We need a conversation about exactly what prescription drugs transgenders are put on. And the mind-altering side effects those drugs cause. Especially the long-term effects, since many of these drugs were given to adolescents who are now adults. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., says his federal department is launching studies in the wake of the recent Minneapolis church shooting. 🚨 HHS Secretary RFK Jr. announces investigations into SSRIs and their contribution to the trans violence epidemic: “We're launching studies on the potential contribution of SSRI drugs and some of the other psychiatric drugs to violence.” —— By them announcing more studies just means that they don’t actually know what the effects are of SSRI‘s, and that scary.

That’s truly scary. In the meantime, Democrats will continue to attack the vast number of mentally stable American gun owners instead of focusing inward on what their party is doing to create trans shooters while vigorously fighting President Donald Trump’s effort to prevent gun violence in their crime-ridden blue cities.
