A government lead exercise which will bring together multiple agencies, training opportunities to emergency workers and will involve thousands of participants across all regions and nations of the UK.

Given that the rates of poor mental health are at an all-time high and continuing to increase, with low response capacity to deal with all individual cases in a timely fashion, I wonder if this exercise may aggravate the sense of uncertainty, worry and distress in many of our students and staff in bringing back the negative psychological effects of a recent epidemic by re-enacting a new "crises" soon to be rolled out to test the nation's response.
