Multiple Minneapolis shooting victims released from hospital, police chief says

All 14 children injured in Wednesday’s Minneapolis church shooting are expected to survive, with some already released from hospital.

Two children, aged 8 and 10, were killed in the attack at Annunciation Catholic School, where the shooter opened fire through church windows.

Seventeen people were injured, including six to 15-year-old children and two elderly adults.

The shooter, 23-year-old Robin Westman, died from a self-inflicted gunshot at the scene.

Police recovered three legally purchased firearms and are investigating the motive, which they believe was premeditated, ABC News has reported.

Authorities have multiple search warrants and are working to understand the attack, with increased police patrols across the area as children return to school.
