Los Angeles – Shocking footage has been released of 35-year-old Gurpreet Singh, who was shot dead in a police encounter earlier this month. The video shows him performing gatka, a traditional Sikh martial art, on the street before allegedly threatening people with a machete.

According to LAPD, when officers intervened, Gurpreet charged at one of them with the weapon, forcing police to open fire, killing him on the spot.
