FBI Releases Joint Cybersecurity Advisory Addressing CCP Hacking Group “Salt Typhoon”

08/28/2025 The FBI released a joint cybersecurity advisory to help prevent, detect, and respond to cyberespionage activities by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hacking group “Salt Typhoon.” The head of the Cyber Division stated that efforts will continue until those responsible for “Salt Typhoon” are brought to justice.
