A REAL REASON TO REJOICE: THE JOYOUS RETURN OF THE ARK

1 Chronicles 15:25 New King James Version
25 So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of Obed-Edom with joy.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GOOD FRIENDS!!!
As I was reading this morning’s scripture, I thought about this moment in the life of King David, in which he is making an effort to put God first, and even though he starts off on the wrong foot here, he ultimately gets it right, and there's sincere, genuine, and overwhelming rejoicing that takes place through this. I don't know if the people of Israel were realizing it, but as they were bringing that Ark back, I pray they realized that God wasn't in the ark, but that God was in their presence through them. But most of all, I am overwhelmed with the sincere joy they expressed through this moment.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things I've been learning from God's Word on what it means to have the presence of God in one's life, on what it means to rejoice and praise God, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you really listen to what I have to say on this. I say this, because worship and praise aren't to be informed to somebody's standards, but what matters is how we praise God with our hearts. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will challenge and encourage you to not only know that God's presence is real in your life, but that it will give you cause to rejoice for it.

When have you felt His presence?

I pray tonight, that as you read this passage of scripture, as well as Psalm 100, and many other passages on what it means to praise and worship God, that you will take the time to genuinely rejoice, to with everything that you have, give God praise for His presence in your life, and never let anyone drown out your praise. Also guys, don't try to have a “hardening of the categories” when it comes to praising God, because God honors praise, that comes from the heart, not from rules and regulations. That you can praise God through hymns, as well as praise and worship songs, with musical instruments like pianos, guitars, organs, electric guitars, drums, or any other instrument, and dancing before God is more than welcome! That singing from the heart soulful, excitedly, and genuine worship to God is honored, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Most of all guys, remember that through the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and Him sending us the Holy Spirit, God is with all of us who believe in Him, and that’s excellent reason to rejoice!
