In this Friday evening message, we turn to Job chapter 20 and examine Zophar’s second response to Job. Zophar, defensive and hasty, misjudges Job by accusing him of hidden wickedness. Yet, beneath Zophar’s words, Scripture opens up a much larger picture: the fleeting triumph of the wicked, the judgment of Satan, and the eternal contrast between man’s failing strength and God’s eternal plan.

This study explores:

The defensiveness of Zophar and the danger of shallow understanding.

Why God brings men, like Job, to the end of themselves.

The truth that God is not repairing the old man or this broken world, but preparing the new man for eternity.

The prophetic glimpses of Satan’s downfall, the Great Tribulation, and the eternal hope of the believer.

We are reminded that life here is temporal, but what is unseen and eternal is far greater. Our calling is to invest our hearts and time into knowing Jesus Christ, the One who brings lasting peace and eternal joy.

👉 Watch this teaching to strengthen your faith, rightly divide the Word of Truth, and set your eyes on eternity with Christ.
