Texas killer Bobby Lee Hines was the victim of physical
abuse by his father while growing up which had involved banging his head against the floor while strangling him with his hands around Bobby's neck. Bobby later engaged in extreme violent behavior against another student in middle school in which he was strangling and banging the kid's head up and down in the stairs/bleachers and it took two adult coaches to pull Bobby off of the kid. Bobby later attacked a black male at his home and beat and strangled him (the man survived). Then there was an elderly woman who was violently attacked by Hines and a young adult white male who was strangled and beaten (both of these victims survived) but the final victim, Michelle Wendy Haupt, in Carrollton on October 1991 was strangled with speaker wire by Bobby and stabbed 18 times with an ice-pick. Bobby was convicted and received the death penalty for the final one.
