A Couple Committing Suicide Together, Jumping Off Of Overpass In Front Of A Little Girl In Sydney

Posted • August 29, 2025: A Sydney couple involved in a suspected double suicide took their own lives in front of horrified onlookers, including a young girl. Harrowing footage has emerged of Angela Nesbitt and Steven Dash in the moments before they were found dead by emergency services beneath an overpass on Saturday, August 16, with the entire incident captured by a bystander in a graphic mobile phone recording. The distressing video began circulating on social media this week. At least four members of the public are seen walking within metres of the couple in the clip, including a girl who appears to be about five years old who is quickly ushered away by the man filming. Ms Nesbitt and Mr Dash, both believed to be in their 40s, were found by emergency services on Harbour Street under the A4 Western Distributor overpass at about 9.45am.
