Robert Dinel Interview August 2025

Robert Dinel is a Heavy Equipment Operator from Quebec, and he particated in the Freedom Convoy in 2022, protesting the unjust and draconian measures implemented by the Trudeau government and other provincial governments.

He stayed for the duration of the Convoy as he was impressed with the peaceful and friendly atmosphere, and the community of people who were standing against the unfair mandates put in place by our government.

During the "clean-up" operation where combined police forces brutally ended the rally, Robert says he was arrested at gunpoint and charged, along with many others.

He was criminally charged with multiple charges, including mischief charges, disobeying a court order, and obstructing a police officer. He says the Crown is asking for 6-10 months jail time, and 12 months probation. His verdict will be released today at 2PM in the Ottawa Court House (September 4, 2025).
