Loneliness, Part 1

In this video, I want to look at the loneliness “epidemic” by examining one of a pair of texts, Loneliness: Human Nature and the Need for Social Connection by John T. Cacioppo, co-founder of the field of social neuroscience, and William Patrick, writer and editor. This particular book, and its authors’ conclusions, fit well within the framework of how the mental health industry, and its allies, address societal level phenomenon.
